Weather for Weddings ("we," "us") provides weather forecasting and planning services for weddings and events. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you send us: when you use our inquiry form, email us, or book a call, we receive your names, email address, wedding date, venue or town, the package you're interested in, and anything you choose to tell us.
- Information for your forecasts: if you book, we collect what we need to do the work, such as your venue location, your day-of timeline, and contact details for your planner or vendors that you share with us.
- Payment information: payments are handled by our payment and invoicing providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider processes basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, prepare and deliver your forecasts and reports, coordinate with your planner and vendors at your request, send invoices, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Formspree, which delivers messages from our inquiry form
- Calendly, which schedules consultation calls
- Google Workspace, our email and calendar
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this website
- Our payment and invoicing providers, such as Stripe
We share forecasts and plans with your planner, venue or vendors when you ask us to. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry messages for up to two years, and client records for as long as needed for our services and for tax and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
Our services are for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
